Scott Perkins was born with barbecue sauce in his blood; rumor has it his mother noted his preference for sauce over formula and kept his bottles full of it. True or not, these early yearnings set him on a career course, and he spent over 20 years prepping, cooking and managing staff in restaurants, delis, chains and lunch counters across New England.
After working two decades bringing other people’s recipes to life, Scott launched a BBQ catering business, Bovine Intervention, to put his own unique spin on the foods he loves so much. Creativity, innovation and seeing people enjoy the fruits (or should we say the meats) of his labor are his passions. And his craftsmanship and dedication is evident in every bite.
