The 15th Annual Marshfield Community Cook-Off returns Saturday September 9th, 2023.

Advanced ticket sales are closed but tickets are available at the Gate starting at 12pm on Saturday September 9. We’re looking forward to seeing you there!

The Marshfield Community Rib Cook-off [MCRCO] is a family-oriented fun-filled event supporting charitable organizations who embody the MCRCO’s mission to support local youth and families facing economic hardship and food and housing insecurity. Three thousand+ BBQ enthusiasts gather at the Marshfield Fairgrounds in mid September each year. Teams fire up their smokers as early as 5am that morning and prepare their highly curated rubs and sauces aimed at wowing our judge panel comprised of culinary experts and community celebrities who know a thing or two about great ribs!

While ribs are the main event, there’s so much more – including live music and fun for the whole family! The event features live music from Cindy Lou & Three Fine Fellas whose sultry and smoky (pun intended) sounds will emanate from the main stage; Duxbury-based upbeat cover band Despite Dwight; and husband and wife acoustic duo “Sam and Siobhán”. Kids will enjoy the annual Touch a Truck event and backyard games.

Wristbands are available for $7.00 at the Gate on September 9th.

Wristbands are required for Adults and Children ages 11 and up (free admission ages 10 and under but they must wear wristbands as well). Enjoy FREE parking!

Wristbands must be worn by all attendees.

The admission fee does not include the cost of food and beverage during the event.

Food and Beverage
Rib tickets are $2.00 each and are available for purchase at check-in by cash or credit card.

Additional food and beverage items including sides, beer, water, can be purchased during the event using cash or credit cards.

Attention Guests with Allergies:
We understand the importance of allergen awareness and given the nature of our event we cannot assure the absence of or possible contact with allergens.

NO PETS ALLOWED: No dogs or pets of any kind are allowed at the event with the exception of service dogs. Service dogs will be admitted as long as they are wearing a vest that identifies them as such and are leashed at all times.
