MCRCO is a family-oriented fun-filled FUNdraising event supporting charitable organizations in the community.
The 2025 Marshfield Community Rib Cook-Off Schedule of Events
Purchase wristbands online for $8/person in advance, or purchase at the gate for $12/person on Sept. 6th. Wristbands are required and cover the cost of admission, only. Rib tickets can be purchased the day of the event at booths located conveniently around the fairgrounds. A variety of food and drink items are available to purchase once inside the gates. Rib Cook-off wristbands are valid only from 12pm to 7pm on September 6th.
About the Marshfield Community Rib Cook-Off
The MCRCO concept originated during a North Community Church mission trip in May 2009 in Biloxi, Mississippi that included a visit to the iconic BBQ joint “The Shed” inspiring event founders to turn their passion for BBQ into a Marshfield community amateur competition.

Proceeds from the MCRCO event has provided critical funding to local organizations including the Marshfield Food Pantry, Marshfield FACTS, McKinney Vento Foster Care, Gold Star Wives of America, and the new MCRCO Scholarship Fund.

Our Mission
The Marshfield Community Rib Cook-Off mission is to raise funds and awareness in support of critical community initiatives serving at-risk youth and their families with a focus on economic hardship, homelessness, and food insecurity.
