Wood & Steel Barbecue started in 2012 with three friends with a passion for backyard barbecue.

In 2014 we entered our first competition at the Marshfield Community Rib Cook Off as “Smokin’ Pigs” In 2016 we decided to give it a go and enter a KCBS contest. Unfortunately, the name Smokin’ Pigs was taken, so Wood & Steel was born.

We have won various awards since, but are still in search of our first elusive MCRCO championship!
