Foster Care Program, Marshfield, MA
The McKinney-Vento program of Marshfield serves students who are homeless, in foster care, or in serious economic hardship.
Through networking with agencies and fundraising, the liaison addresses the academic, physical, medical and social / emotional needs of these vulnerable students.
One of the greatest areas of need is helping these students feel connected to the community. This is accomplished by offering enriching after school and summer programming at any one of the organizations in the community.
